Easy landing, harbour walk, and first ocean sunset
Arrival at Cape Town International Airport
Land at CPT and take a metered taxi or pre-booked transfer (around 25 to 35 minutes) into the City Bowl or Waterfront. Drop bags and shake off the long flight before heading out.

V&A Waterfront stroll
Wander the working harbour precinct with Table Mountain as the backdrop, watching seals laze on the jetty and street performers work the crowds. It is the gentlest possible introduction to Cape Town.

Pick a harbour-front seafood spot for line fish, Saldanha Bay mussels, or a classic kingklip. Sit outside if the southeaster is not blowing for the best mountain-and-water view.
